The decision to seek help is a courageous one, and the reasons for attending psychotherapy are varied; some clients are seeking a more fulfilled way of living with greater self-knowledge, some are grappling with difficulties of life stress or relationships, others are struggling with difficulties such as depression or anxiety. For most it is a combination of a number of these factors.

Attending psychotherapy is an investment in your wellbeing. Engaging fully with the psychotherapy process leads to sustainable change. In the work that I do, I strive to help clients heal their pain, overcome their difficulties, and grow into their whole selves.

Difficulties I work with include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Relational problems
  • Adjustment difficulties
  • Issues relating to pregnancy and parenthood
  • Developing identity and independence
  • Difficulties particular to young adulthood
  • Women’s wellbeing
  • Codependence
  • Narcissism
  • Avoidance

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, and am happy to discuss this or answer questions you may have. I work from a psychodynamic understanding, and I use therapeutic modalities that are best suited to each client and their needs.
